“… and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,“
Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Life is often compared to a journey filled with challenges, opportunities, growth and pursuit of purpose. It is often likened to a race ran by sprinters to get a price. As Christians, we don’t run the race of life just to get to the finish line. We run in such a way as to get the prize. ”Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.“
1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV
When you run your race with the one who set the race, you run to get a crown that will last forever.
This race is a serious race, Once you’re out of your mother’s womb, the race begins. whether you’re on pause, you’re still in it. It’s a real race and you have to run. But my question to you is, are you running this race with God on your side? The race will not always be easy, I promise you that. There are times where you just want to give up. Along the way, you may face hurdles, setbacks, and trials that threaten to derail you.
In these moments, the words of Isaiah 40:31 offer hope and reassurance: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” This verse reminds us that our strength comes from God, and as we place our trust in Him, He will empower us to endure and overcome every obstacle that stands in our way.
Moreover, running the race of life is not a solitary endeavor, you don’t have to do it all on your own. You have to understand that it’s completely okay to let go and let God. It’s okay to let Him help you, He loves you. He’s not gonna carry you through the tunnel and bring you out and say “oh my child, you’ve overcome!” no lol. You have to run that race. He won’t run it for you, but He’ll help you., He’ll give you strength to keep running.
As we run this race, let us do so with perseverance, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Let us draw strength from His promises, and press on toward the prize of knowing Him more intimately. May we run our race well, knowing that our ultimate reward awaits us in the presence of our loving Heavenly Father.
All my love.

"He won't run the race for you, but He'll help you.." That's really deep🙌
